An interview with the influential Drew McDowall at Berlin Atonal | Plus remix of Croatian Amor’s ‘Love Means Taking Action’

[dropcap]Drew[/dropcap] McDowall has been gaining momentum after a decade of hiatus. Both his latest release Collapse (2015) and the two releases as Compound Eye – which he formed together with Tres Warren of Psychic Ills – Origin Of Silence (2012) and Journey From Anywhere (2013) have been accompanied by a growing number of live performances.

We’ve met with the experimental music veteran, known and valued for his contributions to the scene as part of Coil and Psychic TV, prior to his latest performance at Berlin Atonal and – among many other things – spoke about his past, hiatus, motivations, and future plans.
