[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ante., Phosphor‘s and Minuit Machine‘s Hélène de Thoury‘s solo act, released one of our favorite albums this year so far, entitled This Fog That Never Ends.

Behind this very dramatic album title, there lies some blackness beneath. Entirely performed and composed on electronic instruments, Hante.’s bleak synth scapes lives up to the expectations the album title invokes.

Noir, one of the album’s standout songs, now has a visually stunning video, stylistically shot in theme with it’s titled, the video was edited and directed and starring, the project’s mastermind—and shot by Paul Vauvrey and Dorothée Menec.

Dealing with the darkness dwelling beneath the surface of every human being, the video evokes similarities to the hopefully not well-known state of being unable to get to rest because one’s mind is racing—an intimate self-portrait, perfectly underlined by the synth scapes.
