John Carpenter | Lost Themes II out on April 15

[dropcap]After[/dropcap] his first non-soundtrack album Lost Themes and the remix album Lost Themes Remixed were a huge commerical and critical success, acclaimed film score composer John Carpenter (The Fog, Dark Star) returns with his second standalone album Lost Themes II on April 15.

For the creation of this album, the grandseigneur of horror scores was joined by his son Cody Carpenter and his grandson Daniel Davies, both stepping in their famous relative’s footsteps by underlining screenplays.

The album will be Minimal Synth driven, and is a more thematical record than its predecessor, and the recording process of the album—three people in a room instead of swapping ideas online—marks a change in Lost Themes II‘s sound, described as more ednse and thematical.

The record will be out on Sacred Bones on April 15, and will be followed by a mini tour—the gigs will be his first live appearances ever.
