[dropcap]I[/dropcap] never expected such a lovely day. Belgian EBM pioneers Front 242, who shaped electronic music among others, plus being influential to darker styles of music as well as Techno, recently released a re-mastered version of their classic track “Lovely Day”, sounding better than ever, along with a (pretty great!) remix of “Take One” by RadicalG, the first one being originally released on the 1984 classic “No Comment”, the latter was originally a part of “Back Catalogue” from 1987 and recently re-released by Wax Trax! records, backed with “Im Rhythmus Bleiben”. The re-mastered “Lovely Day” single is available for name-your-price on Alfa Matrix‘ bandcamp page, available in all possible qualities and formats.
If you happen to be an electronic music nerd probably twisting knobs yourself, you might be interested into the 3rd part of the package. When opening the file you just downloaded you will find a .pdf with a link to the remix stems of “Take One”. Front 242 encourage you to get your creative motor running to remix their track – the best three remixes, picked by the band, will be included in a 2nd free download single, due on august 30th, send your remix to the mail adress in the pdf until august 15th. Have fun, creative minds as well as enthusiastic listeners!
